Dat Phan was born in Vietnam and moved to San Diego, California when he was a baby. He failed English in High School, dropped out of college (after SEVEN years!), and has been homeless. But none of that has kept him from reaching for his dreams and becoming a successful comedian.
Dat was the first winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2003 and was named one of The Top 10 Most Influential Vietnamese-American Individuals by the Smithsonian Institute. He has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Family Guy, Cellular, The Tyra Banks Show, and his own DVD, Dat Phan Live.

Straight Hate Booking has arranged a live performance from Dat Phan at The Kent Stage on Friday, December 2, 2011. The show runs from 8pm to 11pm and includes performances by Chad Zumock and Rob Morick. Tickets are $25-$50. Group and college student discounts are available.
