Duct Tape Bags – Review and Giveaway

One day Richela Fabian Morgan was shopping with her children at a hardware store where they saw a wide variety of duct tape. Richela has been obsessed ever since. She started out making various items at home with her daughter and decided she had to share her ideas with the world. She had already written three books covering 242 duct tape crafts and recently Duct Tape Bags was released.

Duct Tape Bags has tutorials for creating 40 different projects for totes, clutches, messenger bags, and bowlers. After learning about Richela’s projects and books, I couldn’t wait to receive my copy in the mail. I’ve always loved seeing other peoples various duct tape projects but have never taken the time to try one myself. This book came at the right time since I just so happen to have about 6 different colors of duct tape.

I’ve decided I’m going to make this a weekend project with my 8 and 5 year old. We’ll likely be trying a simple shoulder bag or a clutch. I’m not super crafty, so if we get through it, I’ll be sure to share pictures in a future post.

This book is great to have on hand for a fun activity to do yourself or with your kids. I don’t want to admit that the holiday’s are coming, but this would make a great Christmas (or birthday!) gift as well.
