Honey is a giant, friendly grizzly bear who lives all alone in the greenest part of the woods. She has all the material things she could need – a home, food, clothes, etc. She’s a lonely bear because she doesn’t have any friends because all of the animals are scared of her. One day she gets the opportunity to help one of the small animals who then saw more to her than her big grizzly bear appearance.
Tea for Honey is a great book for children. It teaches how prayer can help us through problems in our lives and encourages to look beyond the outside. People say not to judge a book by it’s cover and that’s exactly what this book is about.
This story is probably best suited for elementary school children. There are many beautiful illustrations throughout the book to keep the attention of young children.
My two year couldn’t sit still through the entire story but she loves this book and is always looking through it on her own. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who has a child around.
