Ingredients
3-4 Chicken Breasts
1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup Ketchup
1/3 cup Honey
Optional:
1 Teaspoon Dried Basil
2 cups choice of veggie
Place all ingredients into your crock pot. Cook on high for 4 hours.
Want to prepare this for later? Freeze it!
Just place all of the ingredients into a ziploc bag. The night before you want to make this, let it thaw overnight. Then you can place the contents of the bag into your crock pot and it will still be ready after 4 hours on high.
*This recipe was found on: Mommy’s Fabulous Finds. I did make some minor adjustments to the original recipe.
My notes:
I did not add any vegetables to mine because we opted to have corn on the cob with this instead.
All four of us really enjoyed the chicken. It was VERY different for us, but we ate it all, including the leftovers!
The soy sauce was very strong, and I did not notice the honey at all. This could be because I did not have the vegetables in with it. So next time I will either add in the vegetables and see how it tastes, or simply reduce the amount of soy sauce used.
