I love find it books! I now love Hiccups Again books too! My 4 and 9 year old boys got into this book right away and they keep coming back to it. Hiccups Again? Epic Adventure Find it book has beautiful pages filled with fun things to find. I love that each page has it’s own box on the bottom to show what to look for and how many there will be.
The other day I was trying to make supper and my 4 year old wanted to hang out near me so we pulled out this book. We did some of the pages together but he did most on his own while I was preparing our meal. My boy was fully entertained for over an hour! But it was more than just entertainment. While he was finding everything, he was increasing his counting skills as he made sure he found each item. He was also increasing his recognition skills as he checked the number of how many Hiccups or
first aid kits he needed to find. Entertainment + learning = a win to me.
There is an added bonus to this book as well. In the front of the book there is a little game to play! My boy picked out some of his favorite character toys, I downloaded a dice app, and we enjoyed a nice game together. Later on, he even played the game ‘alone’ while giving his other toys a turn to play together.
This book is listed for children aged 3-6. If you’re looking for an entertaining book for a young child in your life, this is the book to get!
